Seattle, Wash. — Aegis Living, a leading West Coast senior living owner/operator, announced today that it has partnered with Accushield, LLC, to provide state-of-the-art visitor risk management systems in each of its 31 communities throughout Washington, California and Nevada. The Accushield Visitor Management System utilizes a touchscreen kiosk that allows for rapid visitor, staff and resident sign-in and sign-out, badging of all visitors, and confirmation of background checks for service providers.

The Accushield system is installed and operational in all 31 Aegis Living communities. Each visitor receives an entry badge when signing in, enabling community staff to account for each visitor. The detailed sign-in information can be used to enable a wide range of enhancements, including:
- Visitor Analytics and Reporting: Visitor information, including third-party care provider activity, is easily accessible and sortable via online dashboard
- Love Meter: indicates which residents are receiving the fewest visitors so staff can be proactive in spending time with residents to reduce isolation
- Alerts: provides notification when specific visitors enter or exit the community
- Evacuation Management: In the event of an emergency, an immediate print-out can be generated to track all residents, guests, and service providers in a community
