Happy New Year! We appreciate your continued partnership, and we are excited to announce the latest modifications to the Accushield Platform: Dashboard 3.0, Respirator Fit Tests, Family/Guest accounts, and advanced filtering options for Group SMS.

Welcome to the CONTROL product line

In 2022, we launched Dashboard 2.0, check out the notes here. Now, we are releasing Dashboard 3.0 with 2 major updates:

1. A new product line called CONTROL that contains Respirator Fit Test, Document Management, and Cases (coming soon).
2. Updated navigation and Quick access to Help

The CONTROL product line includes a series of features that support Infection Prevention and Control programming. The goal is to provide features that prevent, monitor, and control the spread of infectious diseases within a community. This enables you to maintain compliance while replacing outdated processes with innovation, automation, and simplicity. The product line now includes the following features:

Document Management
This feature allows you to seamlessly collect and store required documentation in order to validate the health and credentials of everyone who enters a facility. You’ll be able to collect and approve any document type (E.g., vaccination cards, health test results, proof of insurance, professional licenses, or valid identification cards) and produce compliance-ready reports.

Respirator Fit Test Management
You now have the ability to effectively manage your respirator mask fit program by using pre-built OSHA protocols to identify and track respirator needs. With this functionality, you’ll be able to easily identify the types of masks each staff member needs and the next fit-test date to ensure the safety of staff.

Here are the key insights that can now be tracked and monitored in your facility:

• How many RFT’s have been performed to date
• Who’s test is expiring this week
• Recent RFT performed this week
• Create a new RFT for newly added Staff

New ‘Accounts’ tab and Profile screens for Family/Guests:

Modify existing account details and Pre-Register new accounts

Next time you log into the dashboard, you will notice the new Accounts tab. While hovering over the new Account tab, you will see a Family/Guest page.

Family/Guest details are now editable through the Accushield Dashboard, and information can easily be updated if a Family/Guest entered the wrong information while creating an account on the kiosk. The details that can be changed are listed in the table below. Having the ability to modify account details will keep information relevant and improve your overall visitor experience.

Search and filter to find a family member.

The Family/Guest profile screen has advanced filtering and search capabilities that will allow community administrators to quickly find individuals from the hundreds of logged profiles in the system.

You can now filter the list of people by the following fields: First Name, Last Name, or Phone number. Partial phone numbers and names can be filtered.

Also, a filter has been provided to give the community administrator the ability to see lists of individuals who have ‘opted in’ or ‘opted out’ of the Group SMS policy.

After filtering is applied, the community administrator can search the resulting list by First Name, Last Name or Phone number to further refine the results. Once the individual account is identified, the community administrator can click on the name and edit the available profile data.

Need to create an account for a family member? Now you can.

We are excited to offer pre-registration functionality within the Family/Guest profile screen. A community administrator can now add a family member via this Family/Guest profile screen in the Dashboard. When that family member is added via the Dashboard, they can skip the ‘account creation’ process in the kiosk the first time they sign-in. Now community administrators can pre-register members to use both the sign-in kiosk AND the Accushield Mobile Application.

Group SMS Log Report

The group SMS Log report has been modified to allow Dashboard users to see the name and phone number of every person that received a group SMS message. The report can be filtered by a date range and by a visitor type. The results can sorted and exported as needed. Now a community administrator can see all messages that have been sent to a specific person over a period of time.

What’s next?

Accounts and Communications Updates

• We are planning to roll out Service Provider account profile screens in the very near future. Our users will be able to search for individual Service Providers OR create a list of Service Providers based on company name or actual services provided (e.g. A user will be able to generate a list of all Certified Nurse Aides who entered the building over the past 6 months)
• Our Group SMS functionality (in our CONNECT product line) will continue to advance to include the ability to ‘reuse’ communications and filter criteria, use ‘variables’ to automatically include name, service type and community names in the communications, and we will be creating email capabilities in the first half of 2023. This means clients will be able to send and reuse targeted messages (SMS and Email) to all visitors, volunteers, staff and service providers.

Infection Prevention and Control

• Cases (Coming Soon!)
  This feature will allow you to leverage an easy-to-use entry form that is fully integrated with our entry management screening features to capture line listings for all residents, staff, and visitors entering your facility. You’ll be able to automatically generate cases for anyone flagged with a health screening failure (E.g, high temperature, exposure to infectious diseases). The feature uses regulatory criteria for confirmed infections to manage retest and/or return to work mandates.
