Protect Your Community This Flu Season

Fall is here, and we know there is a lot to keep track of between Covid-19 outbreaks and influenza. This prevention process does not have to be intimidating. We are here for you and have developed a solution that can help! Accushield’s robust vaccine information capture and data reporting are designed to minimize outbreaks this flu season. We are committed to designing quality products that standardize the data collection process and ease the strain on manual reporting.

By the way, did you know that the NHSN is requiring long-term care facilities to report on influenza data this April 2023?

Influenza Vaccination Template

We want to help you prepare for the flu season, and avoid preventable infections especially among communities with particularly vulnerable occupants. Each year, 90 percent of deaths worldwide related to influenza A virus (IAV) strike men and women aged 65 and older. Long-term care facilities are particularly conducive environments for the rapid spread of Influenza. With Accushield’s advanced health screening and data reporting, you can minimize the risk of infection in your community and save lives this flu season. At the end of the Flu season, you can pull a summary report to submit to the NHSN based on current requirements.

Covid-19 Fourth Dose

With continuously evolving guidance on COVID-19 vaccination, we want to empower you to be able to collect up to four doses for COVID-19. This will enable communities to begin tracking as people receive their second booster shots this fall. Additionally, you can now select the groups of people that are required to submit each additional dose as guidance may vary.

How can I set this up?

Once you reach the Additional Dose tab in the COVID-19 Document template, you will be able to click “Add Additional Dose” to begin configuration. Along with the waiting period settings, you can now check which visitor type is required to provide each additional dose.  These requirements are completely customizable which gives you the flexibility to provide a unique experience for every visitor.

What’s next?

Respirator Protection is the number 2 most cited OSHA violations for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. OSHA requires a Respiratory Mask Fit Test when Staff onboard in any nursing homes, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities (LTCFs) (e.g., skilled nursing facilities, inpatient hospice, convalescent homes, and group homes with nursing care).

Coming soon, you will be able to manage your respiratory mask fit program within Accushield.

  • Create a standard RFT program across your organization
  • Easily identify employees due for their annual respirator fit test
  • Remove compliance uncertainty with pre-built, OSHA-approved RFT Qualitative and Quantitative protocols
